Graphic Design

This logo to the left was begun as a drawing and developed into what you see. I like to work closely with my customers to develop something that suits them and they feel represents their business and philosophy.

My artistic career began due to a grand desire as a child, to have a horse of my own. Even though I lived in the big cities, I learned to draw what I could never have.

Through drawing animals and horses, over and over, I learned to cartoon and draw just about anything. I do animals and black and white graphics best but I will try anything. I love the challenge of discovering what it is that represents a business best. Sometimes I take cues from the customers and other times I have instant inspiration just from chating with the owner or manager about what the business is about.

My basic training is in drawing with pensil and graphic pen. My color theory is based on what a person feels is their personal color scheme, what colors in life make them feel the best or bring them the greatest joy.

The use of nature photos in creative ways is very satisfying to me and is a great way to enhance web design and help represent someone or something, or a philosophy, etc. My ready access to many natural opportunities is limitless.
